On average, people spend 4 hours a week going through the recorded lessons, and quizzes, trying out the tasks on their ultrasound machines and asking/reading questions on the discussion board. Each module is split into bitesize chunks, with recorded lessons lasting 15-20 minutes.  They are easy to watch during a lunch break, with many of the tasks directly benefiting patients you are already seeing.

When you enrol in the course, you will have access to the course modules, which will be delivered via pre-recorded lessons for your flexibility.

The course also includes two live 'Ask Me Anything' Zoom conversations, the dates and times of which will be given to you in advance.  If you are unable to attend the live call, a recording of the session will be emailed to you.

Following purchase, you will receive an email with your personal login information and immediate access to the course via the FOVU platform.

You will also receive login information for IVALA Learn, which will allow you to explore veterinary anatomy in 3D. Please keep in mind that permission for this additional access is sought on the checkout page.

Camilla is available for the course duration and can be contacted via email or by leaving any comments on the course discussion board, which is available for all participants. 

As this is a spcial offer you will have access to the content for a total of 12 months from the date you enrol allowing you to revisit any lessons you need to review or tasks to complete.

An ultrasound machine is required and it is best if you are currently at work or have a dog to practice on as this is a very practical course.

IVALA Learn is an online interactive 3D anatomy tool that is used in our veterinary ultrasound courses and membership. It provides a highly engaging and interactive learning experience, with a 3D abdomen, thorax or heart based on a CT scan of a real dog, which you can move and hide or show organs as you wish. We use IVALA Learn for our courses to demonstrate probe position and how probe position affects what we will see on our image. No special equipment is needed - you can use this tool in your web browser, and it is very simple to use. 

Access to the course is available after payment is received.

To guarantee an efficient and effective learning experience, each module is unlocked progressively, with the next module being available when the previous module quiz is successfully completed.

This method is intended to allow for a step-by-step progression through the modules, allowing for a thorough understanding of each lesson before proceeding to the next.

The course is worth a total of 20 CPD hours. This is calculated on an average of 4 hours per module, giving a total of 16 hours. In addition, you will be given 4 hours for the live 'Ask Me Anything' zoom teaching calls. If you are unable to attend the live call, a recording of the lesson will be given to you.

After completing your course, you can record your CPD on the RCVS 1CPD or download your end of course certificate.

We also have a large following in the United States and Canada, where RACE accreditation is required to count towards CPD. We are excited to confirm we have obtained  RACE approval and can now offer 5 CE credits.
