Elisa Becchetti  South London

Elisa graduated from Pisa Veterinary University, Italy in 2009. She worked for 6 years in a busy Cardiology and Diagnostic Imaging Referral Veterinary Clinic. She then moved to the UK in 2015, working several years for a Veterinary Hospital in Central London as an ultrasonographer. Elisa now enjoys her career as a freelance veterinary ultrasonographer, performing abdominal ultrasounds, cardiac ultrasounds, ECGs, and ultrasound-guided procedures in the South London area.

Mark Taylor BVetMed CertAVP(VC) PGCertVPS MRCVS

 
Mark qualified from the RVC in 2011. After obtaining the CertAVP in Veterinary Cardiology, he set up Wyre Veterinary Referrals in 2021, which provides cardiac consultation, echocardiography, ECG, abdominal scanning and ultrasound-guided sampling services to practices across the West Midlands.

Insight Veterinary Services - Natasha Shanks BVSc MSc MRCVS

Natasha qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2013 and went on to complete a Masters of Science in Imaging in 2020.  In late 2021 she launched Insight Veterinary Services with an aim of providing small animal practices with all their ultrasound needs.
 
Rebecca qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2015 and her main interests lie in animal welfare, anaesthesia and analgesia.
 
Together, they provide a supportive, accessible and advanced abdominal ultrasound service for small animal practices across the South West of the UK.  Practice staff are able to continue with their other duties whilst they perform the ultrasound examination.

Dr Emma-Louise Waller BVSc CertAVP(VC) MRCVS, RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Cardiology

 

E L Veterinary Cardiology provides support to practices within Hampshire and South Wiltshire for first opinion and first tier referral veterinary cardiology. All required equipment is provided so work can continue as normal around visits.

 
Emmie qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2012. She has held several positions including a clinical directorship within veterinary practice during that time. After quickly acquiring an interest in cardiology when her own German Shorthaired Pointer was diagnosed with ARVC, Emmie has been developing her skill set ever since, focusing on veterinary cardiology in practice for several years. Emmie has obtained the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology from the University of Liverpool and is recognised by the RCVS as an Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Cardiology.

Dr James Tolkien, BVetMed (Hons) PgCert (SADI) BSc (Hons) MRCVS RCVS Advanced Veterinary Practitioner in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging

Sound Wave Imaging was established in 2021 by James and his business manager, Ellen. James Graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2016 and has worked in a number of busy first opinion practices where he developed his passion for diagnostic imaging, going on to complete his advanced certificate in the area in 2021.

James is also a senior clinician in a busy small animal referral practice in Worcestershire, where he takes imaging and medicine referrals. His passion is and always has been diagnostic imaging, in particular ultrasonography, including diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.

During his time in practice, he has developed his skill set not only with ultrasound but also working closely with endoscopy and Computer Tomography and therefore is happy to comment on further diagnostic imaging protocols and referrals for more advanced work up as needed.

James provides a comprehensive service in abdominal, thoracic, musculoskeletal, and cardiac ultrasonography, including ultrasound guided sampling, contrast studies, Trucut biopsy and other interventional procedures throughout Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, the South West and the Cotswolds.
